Step back in time this weekend at Spring Grove Cemetery.

Sunday Apr 22 Spring Grove Cemetery (4521 Spring Grove Ave Cincinnati) presents History in Bloom from 12-4 p.m. Advanced reservations are not required. You can simply sign up at the information table the day of the event.

Head to Spring Grove Cemetery for an afternoon filled with History, Heritage and Horticulture as they present a variety of tours to delight all interests and ages.

They will turn back time as horse drawn carriages ride through the arboretum on a beautiful spring Sunday. The rides begin at 12 p.m. and run consecutively until 3:30 p.m. Along the route you will see some of Spring Grove’s Champion trees, beautiful blossoms, lush green foliage, art, architecture and wildlife. You will even meet some of the more notable ‘residents’!

Walking tours will be led by their knowledgeable docents. The topics offered will be Walk in the Grove at 12 p.m., Memorial Mausoleum Windows/Spring Avenue: Affluent Families of the Gilded Age at 1:30 p.m. and My Favorite Things/History and Heritage at 3 p.m.
