Taft Theatre Transforms into Swan Lake this Thursday
The National Ballet Theatre of Odessa makes its first trip to Cincinnati for the classic ballet Swan Lake!
That’s right, the National Ballet Theatre of Odessa: Swan Lake takes the stage at Taft Theatre (317 E 5th St. Cincinnati) this Thursday Nov 29. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the magic begins at 8 p.m.
This full-scale production, set to the music of Pyotr Tchaikovsky and based on Russian folklore and German legend, follows a heroic young prince as he works to free the beautiful swan maiden from an evil spell. On its first visit to the United States of America, the legendary National Ballet Theatre of Odessa will bring 55 talented ballet stars to Cincinnati to bring this romantic tale of true love to life! Swan Lake is a ballet in four acts with one intermission with music by Pytor Tchaikovsky and choreography by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov.
