The Sky is NOT the Limit at Cincinnati Observatory

Have you ever wanted to gain a bit more knowledge of the above and beyond? Well here is your chance!

The Cincinnati Observatory (3489 Observatory Pl. Cincinnati) is hosting some fun, laid-back classes for beginners that focus on              a variety of topics and will surely keep you looking up!

Astronomer Dean Regas leads these classes and will also be your guide to the stars and planets of the season and point them out with you in the real sky with the Observatory telescopes (weather permitting).

 

Upcoming classes:

Winter Sky – Tuesday Jan 8 or 15, 7-9 p.m.

Identify constellations of the season like Orion, Taurus, and more

 

Preparing for the Supermoon – Tuesday Feb 12, 7-9 p.m.

Observing tips to seeing the Moon when it is big and bright

 

Astrology, Not Astronomy – Tuesday Mar 5, from 7-9 p.m.

Separate fiction from fact with this class about the future
