Egypt: The Time of Pharaohs Opening Reception at Cincinnati Museum Center

Cincinnati Museum Center (1301 Western Avenue Cincinnati) invites you to the opening reception of Egypt: The Time of Pharaohs, this Thursday Feb 14 from 6 – 10 p.m.

Step into a time when civilization grew along the Nile, pyramids dotted the skyline and people believed gods walked among us. Be among the first in the United States to see priceless artifacts from ancient Egypt dating back over 4,500 years, including the coffin of Nakht, an exceptional bust of the pharaoh Hatshepsut and an ornate gold and garnet necklace from the Ptolemaic period. Meet the curators and archaeologists behind the exhibition and stay for a Valentine’s Day celebration fit for royalty. Egypt: The Time of Pharaohs opens to the public on Feb 15: www.cincymuseum.org/egypt.
