CCM Faculty Artist Recitals

Acclaimed faculty artists from the UC’s College-Conservatory of Music take center stage highlighting music from multiple genres, from classical styles to contemporary commercial music and beyond.

Each concert in CCM’s Faculty Artist Series is free and open to the general public, offering audiences the chance to hear recitals by internationally renowned artists in CCM’s stunning performance halls.

Here are the upcoming Faculty Artist Series events in the month of January:

 

Monday, Jan 14 @ 8 p.m.

Kurt Sassmannshaus, violin

KayCee Galano, violin and viola

Ilya Finkelshteyn, cello

 

Featuring Mozart’s String Quintet in C major, Spohr’s Duo for Two Violins, and more.

 

Location: Robert J. Werner Recital Hall

 

Tuesday, Jan 15 @ 8 p.m.

Dror Biran, piano

 

Featuring works by Chopin and Brahms.

Wednesday, Jan 16 @ 8 p.m.

Giora Schmidt, violin

Elena Kholodova, piano

 

Featuring works by Britten, Ravel, Fuchs and Fauré.

Sunday, Jan 20 @ 5 p.m.

THE PAT AND JULIE SHOW: THE COCKTAIL HOUR

Patricia Linhart, soprano

Julie Spangler, piano

 

Pat and Julie always supply their audience with something wild and crazy! Featuring songs from the stages of Broadway, Cabaret and from new composers. Party favors will also be provided, so don’t miss it!

Featuring a newly commissioned piece for mixed media from CCM Commercial Music Production students. Additional works to be announced.

Craig Bailey, saxophone

 

Playing music from the heart, Craig Bailey presents a recital of soul, ballads, be-bop and a taste of pop music.
