Tune In To The Tune-Yards

The Tune-Yards are heading to Cincinnati!

This Sunday May 13 you can catch the Tune-Yards at Taft Theatre (317 E 5th Street Cincinnati) in the Ballroom at 8 p.m.

On their latest release “I can feel you creep into my private life,”  Tune-Yards blend galvanizing art-dance beats, colorful synth-funk soundscapes, and richly-thoughtful subject matter to craft punchy and energizing tracks.

The album features 12 new tracks and follows up Tune-Yard’s 2014 critically-acclaimed release ‘Nikki Nack’. Singer Merrill Garbus infuses her lyrics with matters of power and politics juxtaposed over a hybrid of flexible afro/ indie-pop. “Yes, the world is a mess, but I’ve been attempting to look more and more inward” Garbus recently stated regarding the project.

All tickets to this event are general admission, standing-room only. And they only cost $22 in advance and $25 on the day of the show! Tune-Yards are donating $1 from every ticket to sold to the Fractal Feedback Fund. Tickets can be purchased at https://www.ticketmaster.com/tune-yards-taft-theatre-cincinnati-oh/venueartist/180341/1362083.

This is one show you won’t want to miss!
